Bees find Lambs Ear (Stachys Lanata) irresistible!  It is also beautiful in an English border.

Gertrude Jekyll loved to plant Lambs Ear in gentle drifts at the front of the border. She used grey foliage freely with flowers of mauve, pink and purple to paint a picture of warmth and ethereal haze.
